VFD Questions & Answers

Practical answers about model selection, wiring, communication, support, MOQ and export terms for Qingtian EC590 and EC6000 drives.

EC590 & EC6000 0.75–315 kW 220–500 VAC English Support
What is the difference between EC590 and EC6000?

EC590 is the general-purpose platform with V/F and sensorless vector control for most machinery. EC6000 adds open-loop and closed-loop vector modes, higher control flexibility and more integration options for demanding lines.

Can one drive run both induction and PM motors?

EC590 supports induction and PM synchronous motors in open-loop control. EC6000 also supports synchronous motor applications, including closed-loop control with suitable feedback.

Do the drives support Modbus?

EC590 includes built-in RS-485 / Modbus RTU. EC6000 includes RS-485 / Modbus support; additional communication expansion is confirmed during model selection.

How do I choose between V/F and vector control?

V/F is suitable for simple speed control such as fans and some pumps. Vector control is preferred when load changes are significant or speed stability and torque response are important.

What information is needed for a quotation?

Send motor power, voltage, current, speed, application, required overload, quantity and destination port. For EC6000 closed-loop projects, also include feedback type.

Can you support small trial orders?

Yes. Trial quantities are welcome so customers can verify installation and machine performance before placing a project order.

Which shipping terms do you support?

We commonly support EXW, FOB and CIF, with air or sea freight depending on weight, urgency and destination.

What warranty applies?

The standard warranty period and exclusions are stated in the quotation or order confirmation. Improper installation, unauthorized repair and abnormal environment are excluded.
